En nu iets totaal anders. De jaarlijkse BCF Fixture meeting werd afgelast door het slechte weer. Het voorlopige schema biedt reeds enkele opwindende ontmoetingen. De First XI starten met wedstrijden tegen Exiles (9 mei) en onze vrienden van GCC (16 mei); en de Blues van Rakesh starten hun seizoen tegen Royal Brussels op 23 mei.
Verder nam Martin Gregson deel aan deel 1 van een ECB Level Two coaching cursus in samenwerking met KNCB. Hij en drie andere Belgische coaches verduidelijkten hier de sterktes en zwaktes aan wereldbeker veteranen Tim de Leede en collega internationoaal voor de Nederlandse ploeg Peter Borren (geboren in Christchurch, South Island Holland). Deel twee volgt in maart in Eindhoven.
Hopelijk heeft de kerstman jullie veel cadeautjes gebracht, zo niet, jammer dan. Jullie krijgen echter een kans om in dat geval boete te doen als de fitness sessies starten in het nieuwe jaar. Eerst training vindt plaats in Bloso op 17 januari 2010. De jongeren trainen van 10 tot 11.30 uur, de volwassenen van 11.30 tot 13.30 uur.
