Match notes
(1) Excellent guest performances
As this Monday evening Twenty20 game was the third day of cricket in a row, Arcadians
players were a bit hard to get.
But fortunately, as the rain came and went, and the visitors from New Zealand - who
already had three games rained off in England - finally had a chance to play, three
youngsters appearing as guest players for a depleted Arcadians side did very well.
Especially Kaushik Balan proved an agile keeper standing up to the spinners and
dismissing four of his team mates. Not only is 4 dismissals a very good performance,
his three stumpings are also a new record for Arcadians!
And for good measure, he scored 41 not out with the bat - the best wicketkeeper's
double to date.
Most wicket-keeping dismissals in a match
